I saw this in a picture of a Coronet 500 for sale on Mecum with rare dash tach option.
Anyone ever seen one of these. Found for sale at Classic Industries.
It mounts below ammeter where clock is.

Never seen a factory dash tach for 66-67 Dodge, B-body.

It's a retrofit in the clock location.

Any 66-67 Coronet, Charger, Belvedere with the factory tach option had it mounted in front of the console shifter.

I like the idea, but the scale of the graphics doesn't match the rest of the gauges.

Tachs are useless, except to set idle. Shift-Lite.

I'm putting that piece in my 67 R/T restoration, but it's not and never been a factory option. It's an aftermarket piece and probably won't be that useful.

I am going to put one in mine also so as to see what motor is doing on the highway. Can’t find a console tach. And when you do see one on eBay they want crazy money and no guarantee of it working.

The guy who restored my cluster had to modify some things on the back of the cluster so there would be lightning in that location with the lights on. It's not as easy as removing the clock or clock blank and putting the guage into it. I can probably get some pictures tomorrow.

I installed one in my car without mods for lighting and it is perfectly visible. It is not a stock option, and probably useless, but I do not have a console, and I did not want a tach on my dash or steering column. It fills an otherwise emp
