Need opinion. Hearing conflicting info. New handles, fresh paint. Are the reinforcement plates needed or just take care of handles and forget about em. Thanks.

Mine are already pulling in at the skin (doors been opened 10 times) and when car comes back from the paint shops cut and buff the handles are coming off and the reinforcing plates are going in. Be sure they match the profile of the door before install / and or use some gap filling sealer between.

I've put in one side so far with body sealer behind it. It's an easy install and I recommend it. It seems like doors like to distort in that area.

I picked some up at Mega Parts last time I was there. They will be going in my Bee.

Thank god Jamie doesn't live next door to me... mind you I would have saved 1000's on postage!

Mine came from MP's as well......

I highly recommend these........
