Snow!...Snow!!.....SNOWWWW!!!!

My dogs loved the stove too. I had to fab up that iron fence to keep them off but they figured out how to get over it eventually...

I remember when we lived in Canada you'd go to bed and wake up in the morning to drifts as high as the side of the garage!!
I still live with it! Just got home today from my remote cottage and 4 days of snowmobiling fun. Last week we had 50cm in one storm that added to the already sufficient amount for snowmobiling. Darn thing is that we are expected to get rain from this storm beginning overnight. Todays high was -12C and tomorrows is expected to be +10C with heavy rain. A similar event occurred while I was at the cottage a couple of years ago and most snow melted. The pics tell the tale.

Real light freeze over night....more like a frost but it feels crappy after it's been in the low 70's for a couple of days! Had some mid to high 40 mph breeze too yesterday and one gust made the house pop a few times and it whistled Dixie for a few seconds. The weather station that's about 2 miles from me said 47 max gust. Generally, the house doesn't make any noises until the wind hits 50 or so. Been needing to do some work in the house and this weekend was good for that. Today, I got rid of the bed that my x wife bought from her best friend that she recently had a falling out with. Dang piece of crap. Thinking about cutting it up for fire wood but the Chinese wood will probably poison me lol

I was a bit off, more like 6" but with this bad boy snow isn't a problem! Thank goodness we have it because our driveway is really long and the Cruze only has about 5" of ground clearance. You can see the creek running through the bottom, that's the road halfway up the other hillside right at the treeline.
What a pal you have sitting shotgun! Looks like he's ready for another trip around the property.

Fellas, and Mistress LeAnna, it's days like today that make me glad to be retired. 2 feet of snow overnight. Geezzzz. Went out and fed the donkey butts, and sheep sheep, the chick-o-lickins have feed and water, the duck ducks are wallowing in their pool and the big dog had fun romping in the snow. Now it's breakfast in front of a roaring fire. Watching world from inside. How's your day going??
2 feet of fresh powder! I should be heading for your mountains, you live in a very beautiful part of Vermont.

We didn't get it that bad here, but the freezing rain we got was awful. ZSince it's quiet at the office due to the semi-holiday, I think I'm going to head up to NH to clean out the driveway up there.

No snow... but -34C and I have to get the enclosed hooked on the truck today so I can load first thing in the AM. Guess I'll wait 'till 3pm when it gets up to -25! LOL

I didn't even try to start my 4x4 5.7 Hemi. I'll wait till Friday when it's +42*.
