We were at -8 this morning, around 6:30. Wind-chill was 21 below.

We got about 15" of white **** plus the cold south of Buffalo NY. Plowed yesterday morning and will have to hit it again today from the wind blowing it back in. Woke up to -6F today with the -22F windchill. BRRRRRR.

I used to like the snow, snowmobiling, ice fishing, but older now hard to get moving without hurting myself, heading south for the winter is looking better every year. wouldn't mind finding a parking spot in florida for a rv to get out of this **** for about three months.

I'm only 32 and I feel the same......ready for a warm up and sick of this white cold crap. I can definitely see myself retiring in the south by that time for sure!

i have too much family here, will never move for the whole year, well, maybe...

+29 F this morning. Residents here in Savannah are sick and tired of the brutal winter weather.

DAMN cold up on the ridge this morning like everyone else.
For the life of me, I can't talk the wife into moving somewhere warmer.... dammit.

This cold weather here is slowing my progress! I'm still thawing out from '85...…….
WBBM News....The coldest day ever in Chicago was Jan. 20, 1985 at 27 below zero, with wind chills around 70 below.

I've never heard of anyone retiring and moving up north. I might be the first one to do it. Every year the summers get harder to deal with. I can put enough clothes on to stay warm but I can't take enough off to stay cool. After 67 years, I'm sick of the heat, droughts, wind, dust, hail and tornadoes.
I know it's just wishful thinking. The wife ain't gonna leave her chickens.

Just hit 14 here!!! But it's windy so it feels much colder!!

And no, before anyone says it, these eggs were NOT laid by a Polar Bear.

Well it got up to a balmy -23C (-37C windchill), so I got the trailer on ready to load in the morning. Now back to sitting in front of the fireplace and spending quality time on FBBO...
