I'm looking at an Innovate Motorsports 3918 MTX Series MTX-L Plus Wideband Gauge for tuning the max wedge carbs. Has anyone used it or other Innovate products? What are you thoughts?

Thanks, Mark

Innovate makes good stuff, I bought the PLX wideband kit with the Bluetooth adapter so I can use my phone or a tablet as a gauge. I wanted something less permanent that I can switch from car to car. No complaints with it so far, helped me see how the coronet was running and dial it in ...

I have that one also and very happy with it. I have had to replace the O2 sensor twice, I wasn’t happy about that. The sensor is made by Bosch and I consider them to be a good brand so I don’t hold that against Innovate Motorsports. Keep the sensor part number off the box so if you have a problem you can get a new one at any auto parts store.

I bought a long desired Innovate Motorsports dual wideband O2 system. I haven't installed it yet, but I am confident that it will be a critical tool to fine tune my 3x2 bbl Holley carbs!

Thanks for the input guys.
I ended up buying an AEM 30-0300 x-series wideband A/F gauge.
The guy at the speed shop recommended it over the Innovate.
He carries both and said when the Innovate is gone, he's not replacing it.
He said, he has had a lot of complaints with the Innovate going through o2 sensors every few months.
The AEM was only a little more money.

I recently bought that same one too. Just haven't installed it yet, I'm setting mine up in a removable plate along with a vacuum gauge so I can tune/monitor then remove as desired. My AEM was also recommended to me by someone that frequently deals with these gizmos..

Good to know. If I lose one more O2 sensor I’ll buy a AEM.
