I'm trying to find a source of the factory part number stamped/cast onto the spindles for a B body. Looking at a set of disc brake spindles to put on my 64 polara. I found a set for a good price but the guy isn't 100 percent sure what they came off of. Says he took them out of the trunk of a 66 Charger in a junkyard.

For ease and cost of replacement parts you may want to use the 70- ebody, 73- abody or FMJ spindles. Easier to find, brake items less costly, easier upgrades etc. Early b stuff is harder to find and more costly.

Perhaps a call to Dr Diff

If you can, post some clear pictures of those spindles that your talking about.
I'll tell you what they are.

Well, here goes.
You have what's known as "pin type" calipers.
The disc brake dust shields are of the 73 up style.
The lower ball joint, steering arm, attached to the spindle is a 73 up design.
So then, I would say that you have a 73 and up B body disc brake set up, from the pictures, posted.
Hope it helps, you.
