As most of you know I recently moved out of our shared garage (dad and I) so one thing at a time I need to fill it up.. I needed a torch cart! Dad was over visiting as usual and I mentioned that I needed to get a cart made up and that I liked the one he made because of it's massive wheels but wanted rubber instead of steel, he brings this over!!! Still needs handles but I'm tickled to death with it, he got some donuts from a car then machined the hubs.. works great!

Joking around I said "you could put a hitch on this thing and tow it".. he brings this over... hell yeah! Yes I will use it, pushing carts around on little tires out here in the country really sucks, pushing them any distance is grueling... unless you have this lol. Should be ready for paint soon.

...but you can't exceed 50 MPH with those wheels!

Nice!!, I would be saying " I really need an engine test run stand, been wanting one for years"
Just by looking at him, the wheels are spinning for the next thing to build.:D

Lol, it won't see roads just around the property. The reasoning behind the rubber is I have an acid stained and sealed floor. Given it will get towed I'm opting out on the typical chain method of securing the bottles, I'll weld eyelets and use heavy ratchet straps.

Already built one of those, it's on loan right now but only 5 minutes away. Yes being retired he's always looking for a project, keeping his machinist skills sharp.
You have a cool Dad!
No doubt about it, always has been a great man!
Nice, this is my old yard cart.

Launch that thing off the upper deck towards the creek; it might hit 50!!
