Working on a '72 SSP and time to install rear seat belts. On the right and left seating positions the male end comes up from the outside (window position). However, the middle seat position can have the male end on either the right or left hand side, depending on how one decides to bolt the belts to the floor. Does it matter or is there a correct way to install it in the middle seat position? Thank you.

I'm fairly certain the buckle will be on the person s left as they sit in the seat
