Hi, I came across an original '66 Dodge 426 Hemi Charger owner's manual. Much to my husband's dismay, he will probably never own a '66 Dodge Hemi Charger so we are wondering if there would be any interest for this piece of automotive memorabilia, and if so, where would you recommend we place such an item for sale and what is a sound asking price. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. The manual is in good shape with information such as the VIN number and when and where the vehicle was purchased

The Hemi owner's manuals are unique to themselves and thus bring much more money as compared to the regular 66 Charger owner's manual. The problem in selling these pieces is the limited demand for them. Naturally, the 66 Hemi Chargers are far from the top of the pecking order in desirability of the Hemi cars and thus will be a more difficult sale. You might want to check out the 66-67 Charger website as there would possibly be more traffic on that site for that particular piece.
E-Bay would be another opportunity to reach a broad audience.

Check the manual to see if the "Certi-Card" might still be with the manual. Would be a long shot, but you never know. Good luck.

Thank you very much for your response and guidance. I will check out the website you referred to. Thinking Ebay will be my last resort. Would love for the manual to get back to the car but I am sure that is a long shot.

it probably wouldn't be to hard to find out what happened to the car. since you have the vin and where it was purchased there will be DMV records that may lead somewhere, with more information on the car and its current location, you could find out who the owner might be through one of these forums. who knows, the car may be fully restored and currently cherished by someone, and that owner would pay good money.
