The theory that makes the most sense to me is that;
"evolution" took an inward turn after physical forms that were well suited to the conditions on the planet evolved. That is the reason we see larger brains develop, and more and more complex thought patterns emerge, including the ability to "be conscious" of the fact that one is conscious. Previous the full realization, people manufactured reasons to explain it such as "the gods told me to do it". This full appreciation of consciousness did not happen all of a sudden and in fact we still today see people who we wonder if they truly understand that"

thats a good theory,except they found a cave where neanderthals were living and they used tools and fires and were Way more advanced than anyone had thought previously.
so,we really dont know,we just make guesses.
also,about jesus being real...and stated as a fact.
why is it a fact?...because people need to believe?
or because theres solid proof of a guy who died and rose from the dead 3 days later??

Well beater, no matter how solid the proof there was, there would still be those who don't believe. Strictly scientifically (& my apologies to my Hindu & Buddhist friends), but I believe it's "reasonably" well accepted that a man named Jesus lived about 2000 yrs. ago. I think the question is was he God incarnate, the Son of God, a prophet or just a good Jew. I'm going with #2, but that's just me.
There are CERTAINLY things that mankind doesn't know/understand yet. Scientists are SUPPOSED to be skeptical of new ideas & investigate them further and independently. There is a lot more to science than what you see on Wikipedia, CSI and the X-files.
Is it "possible" that a comet hit the Earth & was a dead bullseye to knock out the one place where all the super-smart humans lived....dead-on bullseye...that killed all of them AND left all/most of the idiot humans still alive? YES...yes, that definitely happened.

That's not at all what I said. A random Comet did not fall on top of Atlantis and wipe out the only advanced group on Earth. Fragments of a Comet DID impact the Cordillera and Laurentide ice sheets of North America and those large fragments DID instantly cause catastrophic melting which DID flow mostly into the Atlantic Ocean. The loss of Atlantis Did supposedly happen at the same point in history by way of sinking into,(or having the waters rise around them) the ocean and the cultures around the world DID suddenly gain extensive knowledge in many areas. Do the math. The comet 's impact spread all across the Northern Hemisphere all the way to Syria. So yes, the entire known world at the times did get a horrific flood and fire and destruction on a massive scale. Synch up the Bible. Koran, etc. any way you want with the proven factual events. But they did happen and can be proved today. Jesus's resurrection is believed to have actually happened. It cannot be proven today. Do I believe it? Yes, as a matter of fact I do. As you can plainly see there were at least three fragments that impacted in Northern Europe on the Ice Sheet. More directly over Egypt. They would have sent cubic billions of melt water all over Northern Europe, the Flood, and could very well have been prewarning's to Noah by whomever, God, or someone that the Comet was coming and what would happen. So, synch up the Bible. The craters found so far have proven to be the size of kilometers wide fragments, not baseballs. Billions of tons of rocky iron moving at 1000's of miles per second, impacting miles deep ice. Boom, melting is on.

BTW...many scientists think that the very same Comet is coming around again on an orbital trajectory to collide with Earth again, in or near 2030. Buckle up.

Earth ending event, 2012 or was it 2015 (?) was the most recent...
Near earth orbit objects, some 1,000's of them out there...

Probably we will have some sort of Buck Rogers (shuttle)

Well, the shroud may actually be what it is purported to be. We do know that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified by Herod and the Romans, I expect he did have a shroud. and his believers/followers would have held as sacred any objects associated with him. is it really THE SHROUD....who knows, science cant seem to make up it's collective mind.

As I understand it, this particular Comet is a dark color and is very hard to detect at great distances. However, we do know what it's solar orbital trajectory is, and it's a long one. It is also huge. As it gets closer to the sun it will begin off gassing and we will be better able to track it and study what, of anything, it will do. At this stage of humankinds development a fragment even 1 kilometer wide would be an extinction event. Given that we are currently around 500 years past the typical time when the next Ice Age cool down was supposed to begin, an artificial Nuclear Winter going into the start of an Ice Age would wipe us out or almost...something that big could conceivably cause things like crustal displacement. huge earthquakes and Tsunami's. It wont be pretty and some on this Planet will almost certainly use such a crisis to take advantage of the world order.

it's entirely possible that the Space Force and the Democratizing of Space by the major powers is ALL about that very thing. If the thing is coming, and they all know it, and they are all hiding it from us, what would be the next step? I should think that gaining the upper hand in space would be high on the list as a "to do." If the entire comet impacted this planet we will be done, so space is the next thing and we have ten years or less to do something about it. Quite an imagination I have ...aint it?I hope not...
