this 68 RR near me piqued my interest

Corporate blue or tb3 was 72 and up. .so 68 big block 4 barrel cars were turquoise rather than orange? Or was orange paint a 69 to 71 4 barrel engine thing?
lots of thumbs up on this response including mine.

Orange 69 and up is what I believe to be true.

I said "corporate blue" and turquoise was also mentioned. I'm not sure which of the two are the proper name. I believe turquoise is the correct name. Either way 68 BLUE 69 ORANGE

here is the dash.....what of it smells of 1969?

I wonder if it was added as part of the special ordered interior? Mid year?

I'm certainly no expert on this so possibly.

From post #28 in this thread...

1968 Plymouth non-a/c cars had the center vent opening with a blank-off cover. Only in 1969 did they make the pad that covered where the center vent would be.

Until someone finds a single other example otherwise, I'm sticking with this.

ok ok ok I see it. thank you. I'm gonna run down and check mine. I do know I took off at least one of those filler panels below the radio so that must have come from the '68. My 68 was a non ac car. My 69 was an ac car so the dash pad may be the same as the 68 except it had the ac vent stuck into it.

Looks to have the optional A/C controls without the A/C dash.
Need a close up of the controls.

68-70 A/C controls are individual push/pull sliders.

I don't see that on this car.

One of the first things I observed about 68-70 after I got my 70 Bee, was that there seemed to be all sorts of lower dash pad shapes, styles and even materials.

I believe this is an area where "extenuating circumstances" may come into play, with a whole lot of "if, then" statements.

The tach makes the dash on this car suspicious.....

As others stated, a lot needs to be researched......
