MUSCLE CARS AT THE STRIP April 26-28, 2019
(It's still about 95% Mopars)

I'll be there all 3 days. I take my RV and camp out on site. Great fun.

Be sure to book your hotel early, they fill up fast for this event.

Hi Darter6, let me know if you wind up going. It would be nice to meet up with some of the Mopar people from this forum. RRDon

I really like going to MATS because there's some much to see and do:
Huge Mopar Car show
Drag Racing
Large Parts Swap area
Major Vender Displays
Always a few celebs around

No, I don't work for MATS. I just appreciate having a huge Mopar event so close to home. :)

It is a great venue. This is the Hotel lot at the Hampton on E Craig, a flyover, and Red Rock Canyon. Red Rock is a State Park about 20 miles north of Las Vegas. If you have time, I highly recommend it. It was 100 degrees there last year in April though. I won’t make MATS this year. First time in 10 years. Have a great time and take pics!

Dennis don't let heat get in the way. Really want to meet up. I will carry a fan around cool you off.lol

I usually hang out with the RV in the swap meet area.Last time I raced was about 3 years ago. Maybe if I get the 63 done I will this year.Dealing with family issues, elderly parents. It's a day to day thing so we don't plan too far in advanced . We will see.

Hope to see you there like to meet you

Hmmm, I was there last year and it never got warmer than the low 90's.
The warmest outside temp my weather station recorded was 93 degrees.
Maybe down on the race track during the peak temps it have reached higher.
Although with the very low humidity it really doesn't seem like it at all.
It was cool enough in the mornings to need a lite jacket.

Darter6, I hear you my friend. Dealing with elderly parents can be, and often is, an extremely challenging ordeal.
We've been dealing with that for years (actually decades). :/

Dennis H, Love your SuperBee!!!!!! That's a damn fine collection you have!

Oops, sorry Dennis H., I see that's an R/T, not a SuperBee. But it's a super cool ride regardless. :)

MATSLV has announced the special guests and some changes in Hotels.

I know I’ll be there. I’m a Las Vegas resident, just picked up a 1965 Satellite last month. Now looking for the cool (era correct) hood scoop for it.

Hope to meet up with you folks
