Does anyone out there have any input or a blow apart diagram as to where the various fasteners go on a 68 fender? The fender bolts are fairly obvious but the stud and nut fasteners are confusing the hell out of me. I tore it apart quite a while ago and the pictures I took aren't as good I thought they were.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

If I remember correctly (mine's a 1969 Charger) they have 2 studs at the bottom rear of the fender where it bolts to the rockers (with shims). The other stud is at the rear inside corner where the fender bolts to the cowl (it faces up and is under the hood). I can take pics if needed but that's the only studs I remember.

Thanks, yea the two lower ones by the rocker were a no brainer. We have the other one currently where you say above but it doesn't feel right. Maybe it is.

On my 68 Coronet I remember also having a stud with nut mounted left and right on the front corners towards the grille. It is not visible as the other bolts holding the fender along to the inner apron.

Don’t know if this is factory correct or changed by someone later?

For the other studs I agree, 2 studs with nuts for the fender to rocker on each side and one stud with nut on top to the cowl.
