Been slacking on this project due to the holidays. It's been insulation, insulation, insulation! I framed in the area at the top of the stairs and got it all insulated. I can finally say I am ready to sheet this whole thing in OSB!

The interior is sheeted. Yes I went with OSB. It will be a working garage. Prime and paint next week if its warm enough. Then I will install firestop drywall on the lower 4' perimeter so I can weld away.

Getting close to move in time! Wife wants the other garage for her woodworking equipment so I'm under pressure!

We have daylight! After looking at the costs of LED fixtures that are decent I was overwhelmed at the cost. I need 24 for the first floor. I went with a standard T8 wrap from Lowes and GE 6500k LED tubes. Buying the bulbs in 16 packs and my military discount got the price to $24 per fixture.

I also got the network done. The place is wired, network, TV, Stereo, and more.

Started on the black iron air lines. There will be 2 drops on the back wall and one on the front.

My makeshift pipe vise. I wouldn't try it with anything bigger than 1" though.

Got the 50" 4K HDR TV with soundbar up And built the workbench this weekend. I have wood putty soaking into all the imperfections on the top and will sand and stain then 3 coats of poly on the top.

get some 10gauge steel for part of your bench so you have a place to do what will wreck the nice wood

Did 6 coats of poly on the workbench after stain. Installed the HVAC, went with a 36k Mitsubishi split system, summer is coming and my neighbor has decided where he will hangout on the weekends! Fridge is up and running and I am moving in!
