Greetings all,
I would like to wire up an exhaust cutout switch and a front brake line lock switch next to the factory 4 way flasher switch, with equal spacing and the factory switches and chrome ring so it will look like it came that way from the factory.

The factory 4-way flasher switch, #2820501 seems to be a good choice for both switches, but I can only find NOS ones. I want it took look identical, but don't need $120 NOS ones.

In addition, im trying to figure out if I can use the chrome rings that go around the E-brake light to finish my addition switches, because they are unmarked. I have some questions that hopefully someone here will know offhand.

1) How hard is it to drill through the dash metal? It seems like pretty beefy sheetmetal and I don't want to risk making a mess that doesn't look professional.
2) Will the chrome bezels from the emergency brake red light screw onto a 4-way flasher switch?
1) Do you guys know of any source for 2x inexpensive repro 4-way flasher switches, and 2x unmarked chrome bezels to go around them?

Thanks for looking, Andrew

You can drill the dash just fine. The rings don't screw on. The flasher ring uses a screw on spanner nut with 8 notches to hold the switch and bezel to the dash.

The brake lamp bezel is totally different. Center hole way to big for the spanner nut, and they use 4 tabs on the back of the bezel and a unique springy metal backer and sleeve to retain the bezel to the dash and hold the bulb socket.

For some reason the flasher switches are hard to find, and quick to sell.

Thanks, that is really helpful info. I found a little spanner tool for the nut, now I suppose the challenge is to find an unmarked version of the bezel ring.
