Wife and I went to see Stan and Ollie the other day. WOW. I always got a laugh from this pair from their old movies. The makeup and acting in this movie were outstanding. They portrayed their later life on stage and off very well. Nice to see a movie where nothing blew up and no one called anyone a Mother%^&er. Discount day so everything was half price, that didn't hurt either.:)

I went to that as well, loved it!
Here are some of my recent favorites ( I like based on life stories)
Hacksaw ridge
Dunkirk
Old Drum (older movie)
Warhorse
The Finest hour
The old man and the gun
A walk in the Woods
A unfinished life
That'll keep you busy for a while.

Just seen this WOW!! IMAXS. Its a documentary about Alex Honnonld and his life of climbing fee style. The camera work is amazing.

Never gone to an Imax need to try one, but these free style climbers scare the hell out of me. That's about as much confidence anyone could have in themselves.

I want to see Stan and Ollie! I saw the previews a few weeks ago ... Love to old laurel and hardy films !

That climber guy is stone cold crazy! I’ve seen him on Sixty Minutes. He’s totally legit and has balls of steel. I can’t even climb to the top of my roof let alone what he does.

"They Shall Not Grow Old" WWI documentary is really good. Make sure you stay if they show the making of the film as well. Highly recommended.

I watched the new version of "A Star Is Born", thought it would be just another crappy remake, but WOW, I was impressed, it was a good and powerful movie. Bradley Cooper is amazing as a singer. He took voice lessons for 18 months to get that voice. You also see Lady Gaga without all the glam in her natural state, and besides being an amazing singer she is a pretty damn good actor as well in this movie. They both had great chemistry in the film.
