I found this fender tag in a box of parts I bought here in Spokane several years ago. Its from a Burgundy 1968 Hemi 4 speed Charger. If the car still exists I'll give it to the owner for free with proof of ownership.

My '68 is burgundy - and I live in Spokane - is that close enough?
That would be amazing to see that tag reunited with the car. From what I can find online, 211 1968 R/T Hemi four speed Chargers were built, probably 50-70 remain? Fewer? What's with the date code on that tag - looks like C15? Mine is 408 (April 8). Did they use letters for Jan/Feb/March? Great find!

Are you the same Scott Smith who rebuilds carburetors. If so I would like to thank you for the great job you did on the carbs that were on the 66 street Hemi I bought from Donnie Woods.

I wish I had the 68 Charger Hemi 4 speed it belonged too,
also :poke:

sounds like you're a good guy
trying to get it back to the proper place/car

is this for super trac pack car with front disc brake? My friend does have a 68 Hemi charger missing f tag. I could not pm you.

is the bottom right corner the numbers that are on the drip rail and radiator support ?

Yes. The model year and assembly plant codes will be there also, as well as the first digit of the V.I.N.

If this is South America - Columbia that maybe all that remains of a missing Hemi Charger and some one may want it back. But why would someone remove the tag and legitimately miss place it?

Got taken off at the body shop in the early 80s or stolen, the guy I bought it from never knew what happened to it.
