1968 Charger Hemi 4 Speed Fender Tag Found

I’ve just learned that jumping only makes the disappointment bigger in the end, so I can wait till Monday.

Well the sun is rising here on a Sunday morning as sleepy lagoon plays on the radio.

I’m off to church to pray really hard, although not sure I will be able to pay attention this morn,

Btw,, just in case your wondering, God drives a charger... it says so in revelation we’re God comes back on a white horse.... just sayin

Anywho,
So in the meantime while I wait to discover if my charger is THE car this tag belongs too,.. I’m quite scared to look actually, a little fun trivia for all you much much smarter mopar guys out there...

If there are only 435? Hemi chargers built in 68, and 211 of them are 4 speed cars,

How many were burgundy? Say 35?
And then.....
How many out of that 35 had the power disc brake option? Say 20?
And then.....
How many out of that 20 had the super trac pac Dana?
Say 15?
AND THEN..!?!
How many were missing there fender tags? Say 6?

Do I have a 1 in 6 chance of this tag being mine?!

The pressure is too great.....

I can’t look.......
I did not think power disk brakes were possible with that monster in there. Must have the little booster and offset bracket with a real tight fit.
Just waitin!

NOT MINE-Power disc on this one, looks like the tag is also missing.

The tag that Scott found is exactly like what you need for your car,you should copy the info off that tag,and have one made with your order number on it. You may have to adjust the scheduled production date as well to fit your cars build date.

yes thats what i was thinking, becasue everything else matches up perfectly except that darn number...:cursin:

so who makes tags? i might as well get it done while im thinking about it..

I believe that the guys business is called Data tags.com. Sam,you need to save a screen shot of the tag Scott posted. It is as close to the correct tag you will ever find.

The tag probably goes to the car 1972GY8SE posted, how many can there be? That car has an export tag on the inner fender too.

That sucks, I was pulling for you!
The one I posted is on YouTube and it's a automatic trans.

Sammy stop playing with those Mustangs :BangHead: and build the Charger

dave, just come and get the car....

thats one way it will get done
