That LCA looks bent from this angle. You maybe searching for a replacement soon.this is what I'm talking about. The key is sandwiched between the two sides of the LCA. I have the arm loose but it won't go past the key

I think the first purchase should be a Factory Service Manual. It has some pretty good pictures and descriptions on most subjects.ThAts not worth selling the car over. They are cheap. Carry on. We all learn here. Some lessons just cost more or less than others!
Well that's good news. I am near Lindsay.Can probably be put back into place, looks like you have it jammed and not in the LCA "arm" hole on one side. Buy PST reinforcement plates and I bet with the two arms clamped in the proper "spread" the plate can be welded on and it'll be like new again.
