14's in front, 15's on the back

Had mine that way for over 20 years.

Some front disc brake conversions wont work with 14" wheels, but if you have front drums there is no problem.

Mine are 14 up front and 15 on the back, I bought it that way. It also has power disc brakes on the front that work great. I'm sure bigger rotors, better brakes. I don't road race it so for me it's fine. Imo, most of our cars look better this way. I run Cragar S/S and as far as I'm concerned that's old school and fit the car. I had two Darts with Cragers S/S. I never thought that I'd have them again after 30 years. I've had big rims with rubber bands tires that ride like crap. A nice side wall rides nicer on these old cars, again Imo.

235/60/14 front on 14x5.5
255/60/15 rear on 15x6.5

Factory 1973 disk brakes

ran 14/15's on my 63 Valiant

My 73 sebring has the same combination 14s on the front and 15s on the back.the car was like that when l bought it
I believe your 73 only came with 14's and that would be on all four corners.

...and my spare the a period correct G 78 14 bias ply (kind of a split the difference size and a conversation piece, possibly the original spare)

What I want to say was my rims are all 14 inch but my tires are 14s on the front and 15s on the rear sorry about that. By the way does anyone know if l could use 15 inch rims all the way around using 14 inch tires?reason I'm asking is l picked up a really nice set of 4 15 inch aluminum rims

Whaaaa?

15" tires on 14" rims ????

Forget this whole conversation lm going to start again! Will l have any problems using 15 inch rims on my 73 satellite sorry about the confusion guys :canada:

Not a problem, you can put almost any size rim on as long as you keep the overall height about the same. If you were to put 20's on it the tire would be more like a rubber band and a 13 the side walls would be much taller. See where I'm going.

Thanks for the information its much appreciated

Front : 215/75R14
Rear : 275/60R15

Only because I couldn't afford new front runners at the time. Most likely will change to 15x3.5 Tire options for 14" are very limited
