Anyone have a B3 blue car or have thoughts on that color?

I have a 69 4 door Coronet and I am planning on painting it the original color which was B3 blue. I like the color personally. Currently the car is more of a B5 blue color on the outside, but under the trunk, hood, engine compartment and in the door jambs it is the B3. If I go back with the original color, this would probably make the paint job easier, but since this is a 4 door, and no one cares about 4 doors, I am toying with other colors. Just looking for opinions, no wrong answers.

I really like how B3 blue looks and it’s a bit rare. I’d go with B3 without even considering anything else.

I like B3.

I actually think it's a better match for a B5 interior, than B5!

This is the way I am leaning. Even though this is a 4 door car, I believe it is matching numbers and I would really like to put it back to the way it was when new. I will also be having the engine rebuilt, so perfect time to get the engine compartment done!

This does appear to be a B5 interior. The dash and door panels are the darker blue as is parts of the seats. It is a cloth interior, but that is perfect for southern Arizona!

I like both colors, but since the jams and trunk are B3... and it’s original, I’d shade toward that.

Hey here’s a thought, maybe add a bit of pearl or metallic to change it up a bit.

Yeah, that is a good idea, maybe just something subtle. Thanks for the reply!

Nice color, I had a 70 B3 Charger.

This is a repaint. It's a Imron color close to original.
Had more metallic.

I’d be wary of altering the color. It usually doesn’t look very good.

A fresh paint job in the stock color mix will look great! B3 is a color that is very under rated.

Guy has a very nice Coronet convertible b3 in thread called post pictures of your 68/69 Coronet’s. Somewhere between pages 5-10. His is posted within a picture or 2 of mine which is a B5. I very much like the B5. But, I like the B3 more. Both very nice blues.

It’s on page 7 of thread mentioned above. Very nice

my road runner is stock b3 with b7 gut i don't like either color so it will be ralley green with black gut

Car in back B5, car in front B3

My red charger was originally B3 blue. Someone else repainted it in California more then 28 years ago before I bought it. I am torn when it comes time to repaint it. I like the red, but would like it the original blue also.
