More Taxes On The Way for Internet Sales

In Oklahoma we're taxed 4.5% for online purchases.

We're at 6% sales tax and in some cases another 1% is added and in some counties it's even more. This is one crazy state for hidden taxes.

From what I learned today, it would be easy to check your tax form for your state on this.

I see no problem with this. The govt really needs the money. Where would we be without $750 hammers, & 4 guys watching while one used it ?
Or the 5 billion dollar wall that won't do anything. Spending someone else's money's is easy

I just purchased a bunch of parts from Summit Racing
for reg. maintenance on my 99 4x4 Dakota
it was shipped mostly directly from the brand/parts suppliers

stuff that the local Napa doesn't carry
I do try to buy a lot from them, stuff that's readily available
(I like to buy from my local businesses, as much as possible, if they are reasonable)
or sometimes it's 'nearly twice the price',
it's really stupid to pay that much extra, for the same exact stuff
& they know it too

my most recent order was 1/7/2019
$209.54 shipped "free" to my front door
in less than 2 days, (said free ground shipping on the order)
some of the stuff came from their western
Reno area/Nevada shipping/warehouse/hub
there's no sales tax added, no special handling charges added etc.

hard to beat them deals,
especially when you live in a rural area
that has virtually, little to no performance retail outlets

& our walk in brick & motor stores, sales tax here is 8.5%
