Rip, I thought the Haynes were better than Chiltons. In the 90s stuff anyway

i have several of them in my barn, R I P

Haynes helped me out a lot ever since I was a kid. One of the few people I never knew but was a GREAT help! RIP.

Motor's was/is better than either by far, but thanks for your contribution.

RIP. I'm sure he helped inspire many a do-it-yourselfer at an early age.

I have one on my desk as I type
Durango 98-99 & Dakota 97-99
I own several of them, for various years & makes

I had actually thought, he was dead long ago...

Yes, they were handy and I am thankful to have had a few for reference. It was frustrating sometimes to purchase one for a specific repair and the only help was "remove such and such assembly" which I already knew ... was looking for specific help on HOW to remove such and such!

Whenever I'd pick up a modern ride, I'd invariably buy a Haynes for it sooner or later.
I appreciated how they wrote them by actually taking the subject vehicle apart and taking pics as they went.

Had a manual for every car I was involved with. Still have most of the books, Haynes, Chilton and Motor, you can never have to much information on a subject. Didn't have the internet back then.
RIP Mr. Haynes.
