Fender tags are steel. Certicards are aluminum from 1966 onwards. In 65 they were plastic. In 65 and 68 they were located in the glovebox. 1966 and 1967 they were located in the engine compartment in a plastic pocket. Fender tags show options and Certicards are dealer maintenance related. Both can be decoded but are two totally different things. Fender tags, Certicards, broadcast sheets, dealer invoice, the window sticker or the owners manual are always exciting finds on a Mopar treasure hunt!

I assume this is a Mexican mopar? I know nothing about build procedures in Mexico.

Looks like the other MX tags I've seen.

It would be great if we had a resource to decode them.

Every now and then a Mexican Super Bee comes up for sale, and I'd love to be able to tell if it was legit.

That’s not a certicard....that is a factory FT for cars built specifically for Mexico...good find

After reviewing the evidence and statements provided in the previous posts, and being no expert myself, it is my opinion that moparnation74 has provided the most credible and likely response. Case closed!

Yes my coronet was build in Mexico, and I agree with Justin, doesn't look like a certicard to me, this plate was attached to the inner fender the lost corners indicated that, those numbers doesn't match the serial numbers, I also have the original dealer invoice, and none of them match.

In your opinion, when I finish the car, should I reinstall it in the current conditions ( it's very fragile) or should I keep it safe storage and made a copy of this one and install the new one?

Make a photo copy of it and store that and the tag away...

If none of the numbers to anything match...is it a stolen car?
