Looks great! Nice, clean canvas to start with.

Please, please, please store your hood on the side, not the rear ears!

I got my heater box back and thought i would share a couple of before and after pictures. I was going to rebuild it myself, but the place I sent it off to quoted it about $100 more than the heater core and fan motor alone were going to cost. Also I couldn't find a heater core at the local parts places because the 1970 has 5/8" and 1/2" heater hose connections. What was Chrysler thinking :realcrazy:

It's an AMD hood.....tougher than nails. I was going to use the original, but somebody took a torch to the inner webbing sometime in the 1970's or 80's. I am going to paint it B5 Blue and hang it in garage as wall art.

Good progress so far! 70 Road Runners are my favorite!

Got the coating sprayed on the inner quarter panels. Decided to go for a little cleaner look than St Louis assembly line did.

K Member sprayed out and ready for assembly. I also got my block back from machine shop and am dropping off for build.

Located the owner of car from 1982 who shared some 110 film pictures of car in the 80's. Notice it has the Plymouth windshield visor still on car when I purchased it.

Hi. Sorry, I didn't see your other posts. Hopefully this helps tnfastback too. These are the measurements off of my original 70 Road Runner quarter panel prior to my restoration. The measurement top down start at the belt line, so its a nice easy reference.

Not sure what you are looking for. Can you explain it more?
The bottom 2 pictures you given me vertical measurements i need how far from the hole to back of insert rib or horizontal. The first pic show from that line to first hole for road runner emblem, so how far to the left for insert hole make sense?

Got it! Unfortunately, in looking through my picture archives, it seems that I never measured that. If I recall correctly, my replacement panels had those holes already in them, so I wasn't too careful to measure them. Sorry.
Perhaps someone can send you a measurement from their panel. Mine are all put together so not easy to pull back apart.
