Anyone Drive Their Mopar With the Headlights On All the Time?

For those California driver's who drive around with only the parking lights on, I refer you to California Vehicle Code Section 24800.

How about no front plate and exp sticker of 1969. I’ve been skating. Young LEO’s cut me slack cause I’m a geezer.

Don't just refer to it, quote it!:
"California Vehicle Code Section 24800
CA Veh Code § 24800 (2017)
No vehicle shall be driven at any time with the parking lamps lighted except when the lamps are being used as turn signal lamps or when the headlamps are also lighted."

Wow, Big Brother is all up in y'alls' shiyat out there, eh?

Here in TN there's no front tag and everytime a legislator suggests it, mobs form with pitchforks and ropes. :)
In VA (lived there 20 years), they have front tags - but I never ran one. A cop would ask every once in a while
but that was never allowed to be the primary cause of a traffic stop.
Real reason why I never ran one: photo radar
Given to cops reasons: accident damage, mower tore it off, waiting on bracket from dealer....dog ate it :)

Don’t want to drill holes in Challenger bumper cover...it’s under the rear floor mat passenger side, want to see it?

Yeah, just like your supposed to have your headlights on if your using your wipers. Which I hate cause now I have to deal with road glare from some schmuck with his bright's on causing ME problems effectively seeing the road! Do cops really enforce this crap?

I cruised around in my youth with the local PD having me on their radar, pun intended, to ride my **** every opportunity they could drum up. Didn't help me as by older brother gave them a lot of business. When I had my '70 Cuda one night, parked in our common shoot the **** parking lot in town, one of the officers walked over to us and natch he picked on me, saying my fog lights (which were off anyway at the time) were illegal. Said "hey sir those came stock on my car". He pushed back saying" They might be; but aren't legal in our state." It never went anywhere; but just another occasion to ride me...ending with "I'm sure I'll see you soon to write you a ticket." Those good old days with buddies in our muscle cars...how I'd like to revisit them again despite some costly traffic tickets and races won and lost.

Every time i get the chance i go out at dusk with my park lights on.
i have done this as long as i can remember.
when asked i always say 'its a California thing"

Nice Olds. NY Tags. We’re just better out here don't ya know.

Back in the day we always had our parking lights on at dusk, we actually called it parking light weather. Brings back memories.

I drive with my parking lights on during times when the sunlight is partially blocked, and after dawn/before dusk.... Daily drivers and my toys. I never use the auto-set on my daily.

If visibility is not good I run with taillights as well
DRL's only run headlights and should be on all vehicles

Nope, people should be paying attention...and DRIVING.
