A PCV valve that is not working well will make the car smell like oil and more fumes too.
I actually live for the “old time” smell. Still stop by work sometimes so I can be immersed in diesel once in awhile.I have the same issue with my six pack. I think I’ve tried everything to no avail. Mine doesn’t get inside the house though. The garage smells for hours. I don’t know what the problem is outside of it being a 50 year old car and us being used to vehicles with emissions stuff on them. I can live with it and probably need to actually put more miles on it to keep it cleaned out and make sure the gas is reasonably fresh.
Yeah - but my wife is a new age person. Me I’m a bit old school too!I actually live for the “old time” smell. Still stop by work sometimes so I can be immersed in diesel once in awhile.
Because of the age of the hoses, you should inspect ALL rubber hose be it fuel or vacume or vent. Most of the hose will be the same size so buying in spools is the best way,I have the same issue with my six pack.
