Any issues to speak of running 15x8’s on front of Coronet/Super Bee ? Im a little concerned about stones kicking up on my paint if they stick out too far. Post lots of pics if you have them. Thank you

I have 18x9 wheels on the front of my 70 Charger...

My situation may be different though. The larger diameter allows me to tuck the wheel inside the body more, allowing the outer tie rod to sit above and inside the rim edge. Not so with a smaller diameter wheel.

EDIT: Looking at that last picture, it looks like the tie rod end is not inside the wheel edge as I thought....Maybe you could still have an 8 or 9 inch wheel in there, you just need to choose the back spacing correctly. Mine are centered or close to it at 4 3/4" as measured from the mounting surface to the inner rim edge.

I have 15x8s on the front of my GTX and have had for over 45 years and never did I have an issue that would concern you. No it’s not a Bee but the fender wells are similar between the 2 cars. Sorry no pic of that specific area of my car available right now - but wouldn’t worry.

Nice, a shot down the side of a Coronet or Bee would be very nice. That’s the look I want themechanic

I'm running 18×8's with zero offset on my 69 Charger, no issues.

I'm running 245/60 x 15 x8 with a 4.375 back set on the front of my 1970RR.These line up with the 295/50/x 15 in the rear. Handles very well at 90-100mph

Sorry, guys, no video except for the LED tail light review.

The car is in the garage with the interior out after a major windshield leak and lots of mold and some surface rust. I'm waiting for warmer weather to get her back on the road again.

Thanks for the compliments.

Hey '69 themechanic or others,
What back spacing are you running on the rear tires if any.
I want to run 295/50/x 15's on the rear of my 69 Coronet RT with Magnum 500 wheels...15 X 8 or 15 X 10. What does anyone have to offer for advice or experience?

I ended up installing 15x8 all around with 235/60/15 tires. There is a ton of room in the back with 4.5 offset. With close to 3 inches to spare before tires touch leaf springs. Not so much in the front. Same rim and tire is about 1 inch from touching the lower control arm/tie rod.
