Help with a "B" stroker build

I have both and used both. If you spend a day measuring everything about those two manifolds, you will convince yourself that they are actually identical intakes. The Performer is a DP4B flipped end for end, and a spreadbore flange added. Maybe there is a little in one over the other, but you'll be had pressed to find it, or know it, if it's there.
last year on my roadrunner i had air grabber unit on a 383 and low profile weiand intake worked no problem,is there any height difference between a 400 and 383 block?

No.

I'd highly recommend switching to EFI complete with ignition control. The Holley Sniper setup is fairly inexpensive and gives you a lot of tuning control. Add a new gas tank with a built in fuel pump and you'll be set.
I hear you have a nice write up on Moparts about the Holley Sniper system and what is needed to install in our cars. Cant seem to find it though, anyway could you post a direct link for us?

Try Googleing Mopar intake shootout....I think that was the article name. Anyway there are several articles that have pitted the intakes against each other, the numbers might not reflect exactly what you'll get but you can gauge performance based on their mild build.

Here's the numbers from the article.

DP4B: Peak Power 445hp @ 5900, Peak Torque 456 @ 3800
Power @ 3000: 419tq,239hp
Power @ 5000: 431tq,410hp
Average 2500-4500: 429tq,289hp
Average 4500-6000: 419tq,417hp
Average 2500-6000: 424tq,344hp

Perf 383: Peak Power 439hp @ 5900, Peak Torque 455 @ 3800
Power @ 3000: 418tq,239hp
Power @ 5000: 426tq,406hp
Average 2500-4500: 427tq,288hp
Average 4500-6000: 415tq,413hp
Average 2500-6000: 422tq,341hp

The biggest separation of numbers between the two is not even a 2% difference. The peaks happen at identical RPM.

For all intents and purposes, they're the same intake.

Are you considering the EFI hoping the throttle body is shorter than the carb and would allow you to run a taller single plane intake?

I wasn't considering it until Andy mentioned it. Is the EFI shorter than a Holley 750?

I’m not familiar with the Sniper throttle body, but a typical 4150 style MPI throttle body is quite a bit shorter than a carb.
