My hand spin snap-on (the only snap-on product I've ever bought) failed after a few years.
I believe the sensor/timing wheel is de-laminating but precious little info on these.

Anyway, I've been looking for about a year, and have found a few under $500 but most were a couple hours drive just to look at.

Found this on the first row at Carlisle Lakeland.

Perfect size for small shop, and about "one size" larger than the snap on.
Name brand, too.

I had to lube and gently wet sand the spindle to get the cones on and then I had to calibrate it. Nice that the calibration instructions are printed right on the motor housing, and it only requires a 4 OZ weight. This one spins it's self, too. Plus it's not too heavy for one guy to tote around.

I figure it will pay for it's self after about 10 to 12 balances.
I'm pretty stoked!

...and unlike the snap-on, this one has a cone that fits a Mopar wheel without being all the way to the edge of the cone!

Nice Score. Plus you have the old Battleship tire changer. Coates 10-10 IIRC. I would love to have the Hunter road force ballancer but dont have the room or $$$$$$.

That's an Atlas, a 10-10 knock off.

I bought a 10-10 cone to try to weld two together and turn one down to just the inner so I could work on deeper rims.

The thread pitch is different :(

As is, I can dismount my 17x9 Dakota R/T rims upside down, but not mount.
I can mount my 1980 truck 15x8 turbines.
Does rally wheels and steelies all day.
Can't do Keystones or Magnum 500's because of center depth.

Still has paid for it's self a few times over since I bought it around 2013 for $75.
