How do I quote only a portion of another members post? As an example, Kern Dog had a post that was slightly lengthy, but asked a question at the end. I just wanted to respond to the question without seeming to respond to the whole post. I know It can be done, I've seen it , I just don't know how.
Btw, all the stuff I do on this site is done on a phone or tablet, if that makes a difference.

When useing my phone, I use my finger or thumb to touch the screen on the text. "Touch Screen"

Not a bad question, speak up I always need to find out about things I haven't questioned. It makes us all better.

I often do that because I like making my input on topics as much about expressing my own opinion as encouraging others to express theirs. I don't mind an opposing view either. It may sting at first but a legitimate disagreement can lead to learning something new.

Come on now, YOU know that was an edited version of my post. Who are you? CNN ?

@Kern Dog , thanks for that. I just wanted to make a snarky ,anti-dmv comment in your traffic school post, without it reflecting on the rest. Please excuse my half-fast attempt at humor.
Last week, I spent three hours in line at the dmv, because I forgot to renew on time. Cost me $36 and they never even made me take the written test.
Some officious a-hole kept coming outside telling us to get out of the morning sun on a 40° day and stand in the shade in case some disabled person needed to get in the door. There was enough room to get seven wheelchairs in Side-by-side to the door ,but no, we had to stand in the shade. Care to guess how many disabled persons we saw?
Power mad a-holes.
