Show me how many do not or that you can prove did not originally? Regardless, my point was about the motor date not what cars have or do not have BS. As far as what an investment collector buys is individually base. Just like your interest. Been plenty of post from respected collectors, that will not by without all documents and high level of providence.

Again, if his VIN is correct, the motor built in June was going into some car with a Scheduled built date of May. That was my only point.

It’s been proven.....and well known for lynch road......

This is why people that have cars built at LR did the research on LR versus someone who has not.....I have yet to have a BS in a LR built car and I have had 5 all original matching numbers cars......I have several friends with a12s. Totaling 6 cars and zero BS.....I can keep going but there is no need for something well known for people that have built original cars and have knowledge about particular plants...

Back to the block stamping. That is very odd and is interesting....

No build sheet in my Lynch Road Bee... Dad bought it new. Trust me.. it wasn't there..I stripped it to the last bolt looking for it, even peeled the paint! Not there.. LOL THAT SAID... I have 1.5 build sheets from my Lynch Rd Bird.

Awful lot of LR broadcast sheet pictures on google. Never thought they were all fake, even trusted the A12 forum post. Thought those guys knew what they were talking about. Learn something new everyday. MMC thinks LA plant cars did not have BS. Sounds like your bird has fake paper work per the experts that study the LR plant

Nice to have your Dad's original car, that is cool. But we digress, again.

No one else said they are a fake...you did trying to substantiate your limited claim....they very very very rarely end up in a LR car....when they do it raises questions so one has to inspect the BS to ensure it is not a fake....

Did you not read my statement....."show me how many A12's had a BS?"......Finding one online maybe two or three does not mean ALL or half got one....

When it comes to LR very very few cars got a BS placed...Known fact.....So you find one maybe two or maybe 3 cars...but not all cars got it placed......The majority got none and to have one is a true minority......So as a buyer one should check to see if it is accurate....there are fakes out there......

At least for the X I have the original window sticker but there was no BS anywhere.........

Every flipping HAM car I had or stripped had BS with the exception of cars that were meddled with and that numbers is over 100 cars........The one for my charger is mint and so nice it appears it cant be real

It is a nice piece of paper to have with a car.....It helps breaking down all options etc. Each plant did some strange things......Studying these plants individually paved the way to separate restorations from one another.....It is not just taking pictures of a restored car and copying onto another.........First and foremost is studying the car first......

You are aware of these things as you have restored a beautiful example of an original restoration......

Seems '70 was a "no garbage" year at Lynch Road, my Superbird has 1.5 build sheets as well. ZIP in my '69 Bee.

It would be interesting to see your bird build sheets,there were not many options and a whole list of not available options.
