I ended up buying a new toolbox for my home workshop. My 5 year old Craftsman took a dump last night finally, bottom chest did.Looked at Home Depot, didn't like what they had.Lowes, walked out not liking what they had.Even looked at a 3 month old snap on and walked out on that one.Called the snap on dealer I deal with, money was still owed on it giving him the serial number.Told me he sold that toolbox telling him where it is.The guy made 6 payments on it and my dealer is looking for it,up for repo.I helped him out. Finally went to Harbor Freight, seen the 72" bottom toolbox and liked it right away.Even got the 56" top chest too.Happy with it now.I sold the Craftsman top chest to my neighbor Earl's 17 year old son,had the money saved for a top chest.Bottom chest went in our scrap metal pile

Are those the boxes that are now available in different colors?
I've been looking at the 72's for a while, just haven't pulled the trigger yet, especially since I just got my tool "map" memorized for my wall of 26's, lol!
Hope you have good luck with it & keep us posted with any issues, please.

Yes,I bought the red one.Come in Blue and Black too.Have the 56'' top on it

I've had several Craftsman boxes over the years and they have been pretty decent. The last set up I bought was one of their 'Professional' boxes about 20 years ago and it's been ok. Also have a Proto and an Armstrong rollaway and I like the Armstrong the best since it has ball bearing rollers on the drawers. The Proto is strong but isn't very smooth and the Craftsman is smoother but doesn't operate as good as the Armstrong box does....guess I'm saying the Armstrong is the one I like the best.

I did get lucky too,was on sale.My husband maybe going back to get one tomorrow.Has 3 small toolboxes, top and bottom chest full of tools. He will get the Blue one

HF tool boxes are not bad.

Not at all deserving of the bad rap they get.

WAY better than the Husky brand at HD.

Nothing wrong with the HF boxes, they seem reasonably well built vs cost. I had to buy one as I ran out of room in my other 3 stackable boxes.
