Looking to upgrade the front suspension some on my 68' Charger. Best suggestions? Hotchkis, Hellwig...etc? Looking for a better bar than stock, doesn't have to be top of the line. Thanks

I went with QA1, but I did the whole QA1 enchilada.

Hellwig is always a safe bet. Priced well. Guaranteed made it the USA.
They even include a decal and a picture of all the employees!

Another for HELLWIG... Thick , heavy duty, nice finish. Noticeable handling improvement

Difficult to detect a dramatic difference as other changes were also made. That said, I would not do it again. Knocked off the Zirk fittings on parking stoppers. Difficult to change oil filter now. Everything affects everything.

Hi ! My 1970 N Code Coronet 500 came without any front swaybar, mushy handling to say the least ! As soon as I wanted off the highway ramp it was like a ship in a storm ! So I had a mopar mechanic fix the rear springs (saggy after 26 years in a barn ! ) and a front Hitchkis swaybar installed, it sure looks like mine is installed differently than yours, Dennis. This worked wonders and with 275/60/15 on 8" in the rear and 225/70/15's in front, my car now handles really well, it almost understeers but I have no reservations with WOT in curves, provoking the rear to barely start sliding out. Lets go racing :D

The 1970 design is different than the 66-69 style.

You may want to look at the rear causing your handling problems. I am happy with my stock front sway bar on my 68 now since I added a rear sway bar. It improved the handling a bunch. It handles much more like my 05 300C now. I used the poly bushings up front and added a Firm Feel rear bar. I liked the Firm Feel bar since it doesn't add to the un-sprung weight like most others and mounts above the axle. I also upgraded to the Borgeson steering box with a better ratio. Here are a couple pics.
