I accidently left the wipers on yesterday from driving home in the snow in my wife's truck and we got 7 inches of snow over night. My son needed to use it for work today and when he started it they were on. He shut them off quickly he said but they were already trying to move snow.. Now they still work perfectly including high and low speeds and even the delay but they park in the middle of the windshield. So before I look at it I want to know if it's just a matter of repositioning the arms or the park in the motor is no good or it spun the arm on the motor... Any Knowledgeable help of what to look for or do is appreciated. First time in 16 years I forgot... Truck in question is a 2003 Dodge ram 2500.
Thanks!!

The shaft probably slipped on the motor. For a quick fix you can remove the wipers and reinstall them where the are in the correct park position.

For a better fix, remove the cowling cover and loosen the nut on the shaft, reposition the linkage and re tighten the nut.
(This guy is having a different problem but you can see what you're dealing with.)

Thanks. I actual watched the first video before I posted. I think I will pull the cowling and get the shaft back in the right position... I think that is the right way if indeed it slipped it could slip again...

They are easily left in the on position. My 2005 Sebring is the same way as my 2003 Ram. You turn the switch back all the way and you think its off. Next time you start it the wipers jump up. Then you find the switch needed to be turned one more little click.

If the arms are sweeping properly, then repositioning arms will not work. You will probably end up having to replace motor, I believe.
