440 Numbers matching question

It would be interesting to see your bird build sheets, there were not many options and a whole list of not available options.

There are plenty of LR Superbird BS pictures found via google image search you could look at.

Talking about Broadcast sheets, when I bought my Super Bee he had the sheet but it was laminated for protection. I wish he wouldn’t of done that I hear that it does just the opposite. I wish I could undone it but I don’t think you can.

google provides real information?

Yes, especially when you click on the "Visit Website" button and it leads you to websites like this one, and others like the Aero site on Dodge Charger or the A12 site, where SME (such as your esteemed self) can validate the information. So take it for what it is worth, but clearly, there are LR cars with BS that Bill can see on the internet. You seemed to imply they are rarer then hens teeth. Even though that has nothing to do with this original post. Unless your recommending to buy a car with questionable # and no broadcast sheet, just because it is a LR car. It was about a GTX, not a superbird or an A12. Which is what seemed to start this whole misdirection of the thread. No one can prove a negative.

You sample size is small compared to actual total numbers......basic math.....

In comparison to other plants it is a clear difference.....I did not factor superbirds that was others chiming in but I did include a12’s and a low number of A12’s have a BS.....

Again finding one here and one there does not mean as a whole a large number did.....it is a small number that did.......

You search information but have never researched information nor built an original car to boot.......

My collaboration has been what I personally have seen along with other restorers I collaborate with....guys that actually restored and researched these cars based on build plant and not some small parts searcher......

I never once stated they never had a BS but one has to think about the bigger picture versus a small sample size.......FWIW

Sometimes they can be undone but me personally I would be afraid to try it....in any event it will outlive you my friend....

For the record I never made any statements about how many do or do not have BS. My simple comment on his question about a GTX 440, was Non NM Trans, Engine # off and No Broadcast sheet should make you question the purchase from a NM perspective. You locked in on LR BS and made an issue of it. To me it looked like you implied they rarely exist; whatever rare means quantitatively. I do not know the real number you may. To me this was simply don't buy this car if for top dollar or if your looking for a NM vehicle. You can fine a GTX with # and a broadcast regardless of where it was built.

Shall we discuss a Daytona with a incorrect BS placed by the factory? Several Daytona’s had that nuance and are owned by guys that pay top dollar for NM cars........

It falls into the category that one piece of paper alone does NOT diminish the cars value when all other things are factored in....Guess the guys that deal in true correctness and originality know this and restore these cars to their glory........versus someone that never will but wants to tell others what best....based on the history of only dealings with mechanical parts....

No do not want to discuss that. We were talking about a GTX. Not a 500+ unit production run. Apples to Oranges. But I am sure the Daytona owner with a similar one but with the BS can sell it faster and for more, then the owner without one IMHO. I am sure even at one point in your life, you did not know everything. Some one helped you learn. Not sure why you don't do the same in a kinder and gentler way. Seems like your more into rubbing stuff into folks noses, vice helping to educate with out attitude. Just a perception on my part; but by the way you seem to always jump my post makes me think it is true. I am just Mr Wonderful, with a history of only dealing with mechanical parts and no desire to ever do anything else, right?

I constantly learn daily.....over 20 plus years of knowledge and growing from everywhere, everything and every person......

I also help routinely, daily to members here and not here......

I fail to see your “routine” help here be it in a thread or have you even stepped foot in the restoration section here? However, you sure like to question mine, that’s very comical...

The one rubbing noses is you.....all you have to do is stop rubbing...it’s a personal choice but progressives can’t stop.....

Kinder, gentle way....lol. Are you a man?......pick up your peanuts...
