I don't hang in this section of the site much, but are there any threads here regarding this?? Thx, Lefty71

Looks like an expensive build to me.
Also looks like a lot of hours of work...years to a normal person, even if they did have an endless checking acount & know a few good shops & had "easy" access to parts since these arent really swap "kits".
IMHO, someone had to do it & more will follow for sure... But realistically, you could prolly own a restored or nice original 69' AND a Hellcat for what they have into this ride...

yep, since totaled out ones are still bringing big money. 25 to 35k what i saw on an auction site recently. you can get a decent used one not wrecked for around 40k. might as well buy one thats not mangled.

Wicked.. but I'm with you on this. That took some engineering to accomplish the melding of the two technologies into a bad assed machine. I guess because you can is the answer to why... although sadly its kinda ho-hum with the elephant in the room... it's still a bitchen ride no doubt

It looks like getting the body down low enough to wrap around those big baloneys without rub issues, would be an enormous challenge (among others). If I attempted that project it would likely come out lookin like I set an old Charger on a Ramcharger frame, lol, and I'd still be out a hundred grand. To me, it does have a tasteful NASCAR feel to it.

I hope to do the same (only the drivetrain though) with my 69 someday but like mentioned even a total brings big bucks, we'll see. Looking at the condition yes that's going to be a heap of money. Mine needed everything from the doors back and it ended up costing plenty doing everything myself, that car looks like it needs everything from bumper to bumper!

Beautiful! I will take two please....one Tor Red & the other Lemon Twist

I like what was done. Quite an accomplishment. Why would you go through all of this and use red accents in a green car?

They really frigged up the body lines by trying (and failing) to accentuate them, especially with the doors.

I've seen this car in person. IT is excellent. Looks really good.

I'm not bothered by the doors, it is the wheel openings that look bad to me. I know why they did it, the track is wider on the new cars so they cannot fit the chassis and wheels within the stock wheel openings.
I actually like most of the car except the wheel openings.

I don't know what you guys are looking at. Body lines, wheel openings colors, etc. They all look good to me.

I have to say that this is one of the few resto-mods I like. I think they did a good job on this one. I would sure drive the crap out of it!

Shame it takes much dough and effort to put one in. This is really the only spot where I’m jealous of the Chebby guys. LS swaps can be had for less than 1/4 the cost and effort.
