Clay bar——Hand glaze—- and Blitz. MAN WHAT A JOB !!!! (For a old fart)
Any volunteers????? The deck lid,top and hood are ready for wax.
FREE BEER and Monday is $1 taco day at the local bar!!
WELL????? I’m just sayen........

If you were closer I would do it, it definitely is a job. I do my 06 charger and coronet every year. Full detail usually takes me all day.

Clay Bar short cut. Do it when giving it a bath. Use a sudsy high quality wash. I use Adams shampoo. Do everything with the bar. Glass, graphics lenses etc. Mine are pretty good already, so an orbital used for paint correction and swirl reduction. Then finish with your choice of wax.

I do it the long way, wash it, dry it, clay it (usually use the spray detailed) polish it wax it. All by hand. Usually sore for a week after lol

Ah the joys of car ownership. I do just about the same thing, except I dust, then spray with quick detailer and clay bar, then hand wash and dry with a damp microfiber sponge and towel to remove the quick detailer residue, then wax!

You're profile says you are 32. At 32 I wouldn't have been the least bit sore the next day. At 72 , yes I'm sore after a day of real work. Everyone believe this, if you do it right it's work.

I picked up a buffing pad recently - fits on my Wax Attack polisher....not sure if you guys have seen these....

Ya you’d think I wouldn’t be sore, 15 years of labor takes a toll on you though.

Actually the soreness comes from doing something that you're not used to doing. You're using different muscles than you usually do. I've been accused of waxing the paint off before. Remember the Karate Kid, wax on wax off. Have a little fun, soreness let's you know you did something.
