SPRING FOWARD !!!

Not a fan of winter daylight wasting time. I want as much daylight after work as possible.
The kids going to school in the dark won't wash. Seen a big group of kids standing around waiting for a bus lately?

That's a relative thing ... depends what time you get up !! I can count on two hands the mornings I've gotten up in the dark, and I'm 66 years old !!

Yeah I guess I should have worded it better. Meaning I'm tired of sunrise being at almost 7am I'm ready for the 5:30am light...obviously the clock doesn't control that...
 
On the west coast the sun goes down closer to 9 in the summer, as opposed to closer to 10pm when I was living back east, that was a trip...(so were the fireflies!)
 
Someone set me straight; is this the "correct" time now, or was the "correct" time before we changed the clocks?
 
It seems to me that midnight is supposed to be the middle of the dark, and noon the middle of the daylight.
If you have the same hours of daylight on each side of noon, that would be "proper" time.
Sun-up at 7, sundown at 6, someone's been richarding around with the clocks.
 
All I can say is HELL YEAH! There's few things I despise more then daylight wasting time especially working a full time job and getting home between 4:00-5:00 pm.. dark within an hour or so.. hate it! I heard on the radio that our neighbors in WV are trying to get rid of it, hope their trend continues on up north.
 
If you’re saying that you like the extra hour of daylight in the evening, then getting rid of daylight saving time would end that.
We are now in daylight saving time. The winter time is the actual time.

Thanks for clearing that up, yes more PM daylight. Guess I can't recall us ever not having daylight savings so I never knew which was which since both save daylight just on the opposite end.
 
It's strange how gaining an hour is soaked up that night/morning. But losing an hour takes a week to get caught up?
 
One thing these climate scientists don’t take into account is that adding another hour of daylight to the day is going to naturally warm things up. :thumbsup:
