Lookin sweet man!
thanks, this is a huge milestone for me, i also have re-done my fuel lines for the fuel injection. hood spacing is so close looking like the air cleaner will not make it without some creative engineering, but will document that stuff in the next several days.ordered some shims for the thrust angle, and will be checking drive shaft harmonics. not to mention the engine electronics, wiring, remote oil filter location, oil and transmission coolers, and radiator assembly. This will be the fun stuff!

Carlisle or bust!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you sine up for the tent?[/QUOTE If I can get it done by then, maybe a possibility never thought about it. I have been there a few times, my son in law took his to autorama this year for the first time with his car club, they had a great time, I did happen to pick up an all aluminum enclosed a few weeks ago, for a screamin deal, have to see how it pulls behind my Ram 1500.

Yup the fun stuff! These chargers have zero good clearance as I have found myself. I had to run a drop air cleaner base from Mancini. You bringing the car to Carlisle in July? If so it’d be awesome to park both 68’s next to eachother in the modified Charger class! I’m already registered!

Already registered under our club!

Wow! engine looks great sitting in there.
thank you, took alot too get to this stage, as you know. the wiring will be the major hurdle coming up, with the fitech system and the new american auto wire harness, there are double feeds for items like fuel pump coil and tach wires, plus wiring on the fitech that won't be used, that if cut and removed will possibly void warranty. So for now I will tie this mess up until its running to make sure it works, then custom cut everything. I am also waiting from mancini for a custom linkage with left and right hand threads for adjustment on the car, they say it will be cheap, reason be that they will sell these to the guys coming up that will be purchasing these six packs, we will see.

I definitely have my work cut out for me for a while. plus my aluminum radiator looks alot better black imo.

All of those wires and "DO NOTS" scare me. As you know I am still bumbling through my wiring. Good luck!

one wire at a time, after i make sure it works.

My fuel injection for my Road Runner took a lot of time. But then again, I ripped it all apart and rewired the whole thing so it was (mostly) hidden from view and integrated into the stock wiring harness.

Take your time. Check, check and recheck. Don't rush connections; make each one deliberate and solid. You'll be fine!

For me, as much of a pain in the butt as my Fuel injection was to install, it has been flawless since then. I don't regret it for a minute.

Good Luck,

Hawk

one wire at a time, after i make sure it works. will keep most the leeds off the fitech letting it control everything it can. it says to set up system without using the timing feature first then connect it, which will cause a rewire ocurrance anyway, plus signal interference on crossing over certain wires will need to be isolated. other than that should'nt be too bad, just gotta make sure none of the black smoke gets released from them.
