Hi All,

I've got the engine out of my 1969 SuperBee tribute at the moment and am cleaning up the engine bay. At the back of the bay above the frame on either side there are some holes. One side has some type of guard 'pinned' over it and the other is open, clearly the 'guard' has gone. I wondered what these were called and how I would go about replacing them - is there an aftermarket part, or do I just pin something semi solid over the holes?

UCA adjustment covers. AMD sells reproductions that are pretty much exact to the OE's.

EDIT: I miss read, rear covers as below...

Ah.. I miss read.. the rear ones are part of this kit. Rubbers that are on the left.. the bigger one is for the drivers side, smaller passenger.

Obviously its the bigger one that is missing, creating a fair build up of junk there and the smaller one that remains is curled and solid! At least its a relatively cheap fix (even given the cost of getting those parts to England!)

Interestingly, they mount one on the inside and one on the outside of the fenderwell! I believe the passenger is inside.

Yes, passenger side inside the engine compartment, drivers side attaches in the wheel well across the hole for the 4 speed Zbar pivot location.

That I did not know - I would have spent hours trying to fit the missing drivers side inside the bay - thanks for the insight! Possibly explains why it is missing as well!
