Hello my American friends, hopefully you can help. While out driving the other night a Kangaroo and my Belvedere crossed paths. The result being damage to the Plymouth and a dead Kangaroo(sorry to say). The damage to the car is significant but quite repairable but down here in Aussie the parts are scarce. What I am trying to source is a nother hood, radiator, grille, hood latching panel, headlight surrounds and the hood emblem(318).

Wow,around here it's deer that kick a cars butt.
Anyway there should be people on here that
have some of those parts.
Glad you won't hurt

Good luck with your repair, we have to watch for whitetail deer here. Glad you weren't hurt.

Im about to buy another 66. Maybe I can see what parts I can come up with. My rust bucket will be the donor car. So it has some stuff you may need. But I need to see what the other car is missing. Going to get it tomorrow. Wonder how the shipping from GA to AU would be.. God I'd hate to imagine. Here are some pictures of the rust bucket. Believe it or not its the same color as your car.

Thanks for the reply and please keep me posted on the outcome I am hoping to source the parts and have them sent to Long Beach C,A for export to Aussie. The Hood doesn't look to bad in the photos did you by chance have the other parts I'm chasing
Cheers and thank you AussieBelv

I think I have the headlight surround and a decent grill but I know the hood corners up by the cowl are bent upwards a little. Not sure why they are like that. I have the latch brace but someone painted it blue. Ill post pictures of the hood brace and other parts I have.

Welcome.
At least here we often eat the deer.
Can you eat a Kangaroo? Does it taste like a boxing glove?

Sorry to hear about your accident.
Around here we have free range cattle and mule. and I've seen cars hit a cow and completely deestroying their car

Welcome from the show me state!!

Hello I was wondering if you got that other car and you had a hood for sale

No that car was in rough shape. The hood had holes rusted through it. But I will have a few other parts from the 66 I just bought. Just no hood.
