Your post made me chuckle as I just did the same thing! Love your color TOO....wish I were as far along on the rest of mine. Congratulations!

Not to get off subject BUT..... what is your rim size , tire size and back spacing for your beauty? That really looks nice with width of tires, rim style and stance!

Thanks. MB old school 17s all around. 9.5” with 4.5 bs in rear (285, 35/17), front is 8” with 245 35/17.

I have somewhere. I think mine is chrome. Will look. So many parts.
Should be body colour, but if it's already chrome...

As for the grill screws, my kit came with clear zinc and as matter of fact I just finished "dusting" them with Duplicolor 1605 Flat to simulate black zinc phosphate coating. Parts stores up here these days only have metric stuff. One I was in today had 4 mm.. if they'd had 5 I would have bought them, but next size is 6mm and tooo big.

Maybe RT specialties.

Facetime that I actually want to use and see....kudos.

Nice, do you have her "unibrow" to put back on?

Getting everything to line up sucks. Grill didn’t line up with fenders, headlight buckets didn’t line up with grill. Etc. etc. the margin for “aligned” on these beasts was big. Like 1/4”. I’m getting there little by little.

Yep.. was "there" today myself. All good until I closed the hood and the extension lip screws hit the top of the eyebrow on the drivers side. Measure left and right.. squash the drivers side eyebrow together a bit.. hit it here.. hit it there.. LOL

Exactly. I had to cheat the driver side bezel and drill a hole under the speed nut to mount it lower so the gap was “closer” to being right. My grill doesnt butt up all the way to the bezels where they meet. Same problem for you? Still more fitting to be done. I’m taking a break and working on frame connectors.
