Has anyone found replacement remote electric decklid release solenoid/actuator thingies? I'm not even sure exactly what to call the thing, maybe thats why my searches have come up snakeyes. The glovebox button and wiring harness keep popping up but no sign of the actuator that goes in the trunk and does the actual work. The factory piece is black plastic but, I'm not concerned w originality as much as getting the huge hole in my decklid closed up. I had to punch-out the lock and now I have to open the trunk with a screwdriver. Yeah sure, chicks dig it big-time, but I'd like to have everything working right just the same.

I have one here that will be going back on my Charger after replacing my trunk lid. The numbers on it are as follows;

The plastic covering on the unit has the name Lecron Products with a bunch of Pat Pending stuff. Has the Chrysler pentastar embossed as well with the number 60043. There is a ink stamping as well 4054829

Hope this helps!

The best place to find power trunk units your looking
for is the salvage yards. Look for the section with the
Cordoba's! The cordoba was the high end of the late
B-bodies and would most likely to have this option. :)

Code:
P45
POWER DECK LID REALEASE-ELECT

5th Ave works too.

Thanks. Looks like I'm gonna be doing the junkyard crawl. I don't imagine the part is any different across the line. What pops the trunk on a NewYorker or 5th Ave will pop the trunk of a Cordoba. At least for this search I get to remain vertical...no rolling around on the ground in the sticker bushes. Well, I can hope, right?

I have now fixed electric windows, chronometer and front seats are working... But trunk actuator is still broken. Can i use just any actuator? Do i need a relay to make it work? I only have button in glove box and i know actuator coil is burned in trunk

I have one if you need it $20 plus shipping... shipping may be $$ because your in Finland though
Let me know :)

PS: no there is no relay, straight from the switch to the trunk
