hey b-body folks. I’m on the hunt to figure out what I need and how to install door locks on my 66 2dr coronet. I currently have working door handles that open and close the door, and I also have door lock cylinders. However I’m not sure how to connect these two parts to make a fully functioning locking door. Does anybody have a screenshot of the assembly diagram or example photos of the complete assembly? Thank you so much. ( I know to check the shop manual but I just moved and my two shop manuals are missing and I’m so close to having the build complete)

I sent these to another fellow and he never asked again. Hopefully they help you. This was from a 66 Coronet as well.

Awesome! Thanks. I’m gonna try this out tomorrow. I recently got the little door lock rods and clips but was unsure how to connect the two. I’ll try this out and check back in. Thanks again

Good evening. I was able to get everything together. The only issue I’m having is both of the keys barely turn the lock cylinder? Am I supposed to key the lock or unlock the cylinder somehow? I can only get the lock to turn just a few degrees, it’s odd that it doesn’t click like the trunk lock.

On the bench like that it should turn freely from 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock, 1/4 turn.

67 Charger- should be identical. Watch the lever as it can fit both ways but only works well one way.

Yeah this makes sense. I guess it’s something up with my lock cylinders. They aren’t turning nearly enough. It feels like they’re keyed differently than the trunk. Thanks for the pics. Those are really clear
