My older son won his second USIBA belt today.
It was held in Syracuse this year, so we were able to attend.

He was also on the flyer for the event

He's in the doctoral program for Physics. He did it while taking classes and teaching undergraduate classes. It takes a lot of dedication and training.

Congrats on your son. Outstanding!

Good match, Congrats to your son !

In the doctoral program for physics AND a great boxer! What a combination!

Congratulations!

Great post! Congratulations Don/ Don's son! Physics huh? Our son too, but he couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag, he's a passivist.

One of the best things about it was the character of the young collegiate boxers who participate.
They all have a great attitude and comradery amongst their teams.
This was particularly displayed by the losers. Just great to see young people with such positive qualities.
Some fine examples shown by our younger generation.

Boxing has always been one of my favorite sports. It takes a lot of talent, practice and desire to be good at it. Congratulations!

Congrats !! Lots to be proud of !!!!
