318 Cam Question. Roller Block, Flat Tappet Cam?

That's a gap in my documentation.

I have 71-74, 75 "and up", and then Mag.

Do you happen to have the specs?

I also had a hard time pinning down the 318 roller specs but finally got them.
 
I want to say I found them in print somewhere but I'll have to think about exactly where that might have been.

Not sure that I trust these numbers but it's something. I've seen slightly different HP/TQ numbers quoted and several sources that swear the 360 was also bumped to 9.2:1 compression. I want to say that Mopar Action did an article on the magnum motors when they came out, and compared them in detail to the LA blocks, but I haven't been able to track it down yet.

I don't see cam specs there.

I was told by a trusted dealership parts guy that the 5.9 Magnum was 8.8:1 compression and that sort of jives with that link.

If that's true and the 5.2 Mag was 9.2 (or 9.1 per your link) then that might hep explain why there's only 10 HP difference.

I see that link also says Magnum HP is only 220 for 5.2 and 230 for 5.9.
I was under the impression they were 235 and 245 respectively.

Sorry, P5249498 is the OE 360 tbi cam, also the 360/300 crate cam, 274/264, .385/.401. As a side note, the 360/380 crate used P4876348, which was 288/292, .501/.513. Unfortunately the 360/380 cam is disco'd.

Can you post the specs on the 318 LA roller cam, please?

.385/.401 lift is puny for a 360, see below...

I'll have to find my files, but I want to say the 318 roller was close to the .399 (or .400 depending on the source) of the flat tappet 318 cam.
