upgrade included making it Bluetooth & MP3 compatible as well as AM/FM and rebuilding the 8 track tape player. I didn't own a 8 track tape, but I did find a "new" Mopar demo tape from the early 70's on Ebay. Purchased that and the thing sounds amazing! Also pared up my cell phone and started streaming music. I have had the same thing to mine, but have yet to restore the car. I'm glad to hear that it sounds great. There's a lady that lives in my town that sell, restores tapes. She even has a tape rebuild kit.
I believe her website is kate's track shack......or something similar

Who did you send the radio to? I'm wanting to do this to my 72 am radio
