Years ago I uploaded a few videos and had to first upload to youtube then from there to here, very time consuming! Just curious if there's an easier way?

Videos have to be hosted elsewhere. If we allowed uploads directly to the site, the storage needs would be incredible.

I just remember last time on my laptop it took forever.. walk away.. come back.. walk away.. come back to do the whole YouTube thing, I was hoping a better option had come along.

Hey dev, I use the YouTube app on my phone and it usually takes a few minutes to upload a video, within reasonable legnth.

Didn't know about the app, I'll try it. Thanks

Youtube-copy-paste-done takes less than a minute.

YouTuber here as well.

Just make sure you film your exploits in landscape mode (horizontal) to keep the K-Dog happy  Unlike my young friend here filming with my phone, the wrong way, and not listening....we had fun though. :D

Wow, that's WAY FASTER!!!! Thanks guys

Just recently I all of a sudden can't watch some videos posted in threads. I just see a still picture of the video as usual, but it doesn't react to the mouse over it or clicking on it. No red play arrow is present, either. Some still work and others don't. Strangely, I posted a clip myself tonight that worked fine, then the next time I logged in it's just a still shot, not a video. Anyone have any ideas?

Same here, why are the video's not playing?

For me, some do and some don't.

Same here. Videos just posted yesterday are nothing more that a picture. If the link/url was made visible I could search for it at least. What's up with videos here? I tried on both my phone and pc.

I do not have trouble running youtube videos on my phone or pc. The embedded video or links (some) are not accessible on this site for some reason.
