" Those chrome bits along the rear quarters..."

Actually I would go with "quarter hash mark trim."

They have a mopar part# on the back. They are the "dummy" louvers that were on 1965 Satellite (pictured), ONLY! Seven (7) on each-side, and the blk paint amongst the chrome (faux opening), correctly faces the rear...as this car has them mounted correctly!
Cheers! AL

Yeah, my Mom's '88-'89 turbo 5th Ave had them on front fenders. Gills.

The original Title read:

The poster's query was: "I would like to know what these trim pieces are called, so I don't sound like a complete tard when looking for them. this isn't my car its just something I grabbed off google images."
I'm pretty certain he wasn't asking about any other model Mopars that used "faux" louvers...
My comment was: "They have a Mopar part# on the back. They are the "dummy" louvers that were on 1965 Satellite's (pictured), ONLY! Seven (7) on each-side, and the blk paint amongst the chrome (faux opening), correctly faces the rear...as this car has them mounted correctly!"
I have seen many, that were mounted facing the wrong-way, after being removed by say a Body Shop, for a repaint, etc. It can-be easily overlooked, if one is not familiar with the correct mounting...
Cheers! AL
